Shri Vidya Jyoti Foundation Society is registered under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958 (Registration No. COOP/2020/JAIPUR/201010, dated 31/08/2020). It was initiated by a group of technical professionals with the objective of helping underprivileged children in their education by providing free evening coaching classes, guidance, and support.
Over 60% of our students are girls. Our students belong to families engaged in hard manual labour who have migrated from the adjoining districts of Jaipur in search of jobs.

Classes
The Society is currently providing free coaching to more than 275 students from 7th to 12th standards in the Jhalana Doongri Basti area of Jaipur, without discrimination of religion, caste, or gender. All children belong to underprivileged lower-income groups, with over 60% being girls, primarily from SC/ST communities.
The teaching system is primarily driven by volunteer professionals who dedicate their free time to educating students. Alumni and senior students actively teach, guide, and mentor junior classes as a structured system. For subjects not covered by volunteers, teachers are engaged on nominal honorariums.
The Society does not currently own premises. Classes are conducted at Shri Kalyan Vidya Mandir, located in Jhalana Kachchi Basti, after school hours and on holidays. Additionally, a library-cum-reading room has been set up in the basti area to support senior students and is also used as a smart classroom facility.
